Please get in touch if you wish to add your name to the waiting list. \nJoin us for the launch of Andrew Lanyon’s new book\, ‘Rabelais and Cervantes on the Road to Cornwall’. \nOn Saturday 23rd September from 2.30-3.30\, Andrew Lanyon\, local writer\, painter\, photographer & film-maker\, will launch his latest book ‘Rabelais and Cervantes on the Road to Cornwall’\, and try to explain what on earth he hoped to achieve by bringing those literary giants to Cornwall in 1790 – after they were both dead! \nSnacks will be provided by the Singing Rooster café at this get-together\, and copies of Andrew’s book will be on sale. \nA short extract from the book is up on Andrew’s YouTube site\, entitled ‘The Horse Has the Last Word’\, which you can view here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYKRLa5Vp4k \nWe’ll also celebrate and acknowledge Andrew’s generous and wonderful donation of copies of all of his books to the Library. \nAs this event is a book launch and get-together\, tickets won’t be via a ballot this time.
