DESCRIPTION:Artist Faye Dobinson will be displaying the artwork created during her residency at The Morrab Library. Visitors are welcome to pop in to see Faye’s work during library hours (10am – 4pm). \nFaye explored the library through a myriad of different artistic processes and through that\, different facets of the space revealed themselves and found form in curious and unexpected works of art. \nShe will be in situ\, in the Elizabeth Treffry Room\, on Thursday 25th (1-3pm)\, Friday 26th (1-3pm) and Saturday 27th (10am – 1pm) to chat to visitors about her work.

DESCRIPTION:Please note: all the tickets for this talk have now been allocated but if you would like to be added to the waiting list then please email enquiries@morrablibrary.org.uk \nArtist Faye Dobinson\, one of our Artists in Residence\, will be giving a talk at The Morrab Library on Wednesday 24th April at 2pm in the Reading Room. \nFaye will talk about her affection for The Morrab Library and what she unearthed about the space and herself through being one of the recent Artists in Residence. \nShe explored the library through a myriad of different artistic processes and through that\, different facets of the space revealed themselves and found form in curious and unexpected works of art. \nFrom moulds of obsolete locks to cyanotypes of plants outside\, listen to her talk about how she gets to create a portrait of a place by making art within it. \nTickets will be allocated by a ballot system. Please email enquiries@morrablibrary.org.uk or call 01736 364474 to be entered into the ballot for a ticket. The ballot closes on Monday 15th April. Entry to this event is free but donations are welcomed to help support The Morrab Library (suggested £5).
