DESCRIPTION:We have another excellent talk coming up at the library on Wednesday 2nd November at 2pm from Dr Serena Trowbridge\, Reader in Victorian Literature at Birmingham City University & Chair of the Pre-Raphaelite Society. \nSerena will look at the evidence and explore a number of myths surrounding the Victorian artists associated with the Pre-Raphaelites. DESCRIPTION:Formerly\, Philosophy was the preserve of PhDs and the intellectually precocious\, until now! \nIn this fantastic half day course\, Darren Harper will disinter a little of philosophy’s hermetic meaning as you join him to re-evaluate religion\, including St. Anselm’s famous “Ontological Argument”\, and then go on to appreciate art and aesthetics with Clive Bell\, R. G.
