SOLD OUT – Make your own Botanical Sketchbook – a workshop for all ages

April 13 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Donations welcome

Plants are amazing – aren’t they? But, when you look through a magnifying glass a whole new world opens up before your eyes. All the beautiful details of a plant can be seen through the lens.

Come along to Morrab Library on Thursday 13th April to meet Book Artist and Authorial Illustrator, Vicki Aimers, and make a simple botanical inspired sketchbook. Then, stay a while to fill it with studies of plants and wildflowers using a magnifying glass.

Also learn more about Vicki’s project and her artist’s residency in August at the Library, exploring the fascinating life and ideas of a local Quaker preacher Catherine Payton Phillips (1727-1794), and especially her love for nature.

Booking is essential, contact the library to reserve your place. There are three sessions of 45 minutes each -11.00-11.45,11.45-12.30 or 1.15-2.00.
