The Morrab Library will host our annual book and postcard fair in St. John’s Hall, Penzance on Saturday 21st September 2013 from 10am until 4pm.
This well-established and popular event will again see many booksellers and dealers from throughout the South West manning their stalls of new, second-hand and antiquarian books.
This year the Morrab Library will have an additional table entirely devoted to books about Cornwall.
It is a wonderful opportunity for people to rummage and browse through thousands of books, pamphlets and postcards and met friends. This is the place to find new interests and possibly that wonderful book, which you read so many years ago, and then forgot the title and the author!
Light refreshments will be available throughout the day and, as usual, there will be a raffle.
If you love books then this is the place to be, and to be seen, on Saturday 21st of September.
PLEASE NOTE: As a result of the fair the Library will be closed on Saturday 21st September. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Hope to see you at St John’s Hall!

Saturday 22nd June, 10 – 3
Come along to our annual Summer Fair this Saturday for books, bric-a-brac, cakes, plants and lots more. The Friends of Morrab Gardens will also be holding their fete on Saturday so there’ll be lots to see and do in the gardens!
The extension is coming on very well but building work is still being carried out so we are still somewhat in turmoil and as yet without a completion date!
