Botanical Drawing Workshops

£20An explorative & meditative creative afternoon at Morrab Library with local artist Claire Lucas
In Collaboration with The Hypatia Trust, The Pengarth Day Centre and The Friends of Morrab Garden’s The Gardener’s House project
August 8th & August 15th, 1pm – 3.30pm
£20 per class (with £5 of this donated to The Gardener’s House fundraising pot)….come to one or both!
Surrounded by the glorious abundance of Morrab Gardens we will use a range of exercises and activities to produce a series of sketches and then we’ll work on a more finished piece that celebrates the beauty of a plant that we are drawn to. Claire will provide all materials for those that need them, but do bring your favourite drawing materials if you like. Cameras or camera phones are also useful, but not essential.
All levels of experience welcome.
