Library Talk: Mrs Delaney – The Cornish Connection with Liz Woods

Wednesday 4th March
2pm-3pm. Reading Room at the Morrab Library.
Enter the ballot to join Liz Woods, author of ‘Cornish Feasts and Festivals’ as she delivers a talk about Mary Delany, notable english artist and letter writer.
Mrs Delany began her life’s work when she was over seventy. Her thousands of botanical paper cuts are now in the British Museum, but her family and her early life are inextricably linked to Cornwall and eighteenth century Cornish politics. This is the story of villains in many guises and one extraordinary heroine.
