Spring Art Day with local artist Claire Lucas – Saturday 12th March

We are delighted that local artist Claire Lucas is back in the library to offer a Spring Art Day on Saturday 12th March.
Using the wonderful plants of Morrab Gardens, photographs of the local landscape or simply your imagination as inspiration, this Art Day offers you the opportunity to celebrate the unique beauty and promise of early Spring.
The day will begin with a slideshow of local artists’ representations of Spring, followed by a discussion about what Spring means to us individually and how we would like to portray it in art. The remainder of the day will bee spent producing sketches and / or more finished pieces using a variety of media of your choice.
All levels of experience welcome.
Cost: £65 (or £80 to include lunch at the Honeypot).
