Writing ‘Something So Precious’ – A Talk by James Lee

Chronicling the life of a young academic whose world is turned upside down when an enigmatic artist moves into a cottage in her parents’ garden, a large part of Something So Precious is situated in West Cornwall and it even includes a scene in Morrab Library! James will talk about what inspired him to write this book and how he grappled with the challenges of researching a narrative that plays out across Cornwall, London, Barcelona and Paris.
