Bags cost £10 each, and proceeds go to the care and maintenance of our library and its important and special collections.

Local bookshop Barton Books is a great supporter o

Local bookshop Barton Books is a great supporter of Morrab Library. If you've visited the shop up on Causewayhead you may have noticed its latest window display, featuring the books of Derek and Jennie Tangye and two images from the library's Photographic Archive - one of their daffodil field facing the Atlantic Ocean, and Derek with his pet donkeys.

As well as more images, the library holds personal archives and books about the Tangyes and their life in Cornwall. Get in touch to find out more.

Have you been to see @cornwall_museum and their newest exhibition, Cornish Myths and Legends yet? We are excited to see lots of our Hilda Quick collection on display.

We are so lucky to hold a large archive of the remarkable Cornish artist, illustrator, wood-engraver and ornithologist’s work at the Library.

Drop into the library to see some of the designs we chose for our cards, including the ‘Happy Housewife’ series, or follow the link in our bio.

It’s a truly enchanting exhibit so do go visit!

There will be no tour of the Library on Friday 3rd.

Artist and library member John Trigg has donated h

Artist and library member John Trigg has donated his collection of drawing books spanning over 40 years, creating a special archive of his beautiful and inspiring art.

Not only is he still adding to the collection, but he has given us permission to sell a selection of his works to raise valuable funds for the library. You can choose a high quality print from one of twelve beautiful images.
