The first Wednesday lecture of 2014: John Potter will be showing the film Kruzenshtern - From Penzance to Bremerhaven on one of the world's last sailing ships. Refreshments will be provided. The talk is free to attend - donations gratefully received, no booking required.

Jane Darke will be showing the film The Art of Catching Lobsters (N.B. Early start as film is 90 minutes long) Free admission - donations gratefully received. No need to book, seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Refreshments will be available.  

To celebrate World Book Day/Night there will be a sale of interesting & unusual books at the Library. We will also be giving away 100 free books for World Book Night. Browse the books and enjoy a cuppa and a slice of something tasty!
