Can Palores – The Song of the Chough

02/07/2019

We will celebrate the first performance in modern times of ‘Can Palores’ (Song of the Chough), arranged by Ralph Dunstan in 1932. A short talk about the piece will be followed by a performance of Can Palores & other songs by Keur Heb Hanow – a local harmony choir who sing exclusively in Cornish.

You can read more about this remarkable find on our blog here.

The event will be held twice on Tuesday 2nd July. The first at 3.00pm is a seated event and the second at 5.30pm is a standing event, part of the Litfest Fringe. Booking is essential and a £4 suggested donation on entry is welcome.
