Our collections amount to some 15,000 images from a range of photographers and sources. The largest collection is from the Richards family but many other photographers are represented.

A reminder that we have our Spring Fair, taking pl A reminder that we have our Spring Fair, taking place on Saturday 21st March from 10am until 2pm. 

As ever, there will be stalls throughout the Library (inside and out!) featuring local makers showcasing their crafts, as well as many plants, second-hand books and historic photos for sale, alongside our raffle. The much-loved refreshments room will return with delicious homemade cakes.

Some of the stalls will be cash only, so please bring some change along with you to help support your library.

Members and non-members alike are all welcome, so please bring friends and family along too.

We hope to see you there!

It’s Women’s History month, so we will be highligh It’s Women’s History month, so we will be highlighting important women relating to Cornwall and the items we hold in our collections.

The first in our series is Maria Branwell, mother to the Bronte sisters.

We have books and archives about the Bronte family, especially in the Elizabeth Treffry room, so do drop in to explore.
