Join retired Metropolitan Police officer Tim Grattan-Kane for a fascinating insight into the most serious of crimes – murder. Based on his extensive experience over 32 years Tim will discuss the difference between the fictional, misfit detective and the authentic methodical approach.
He will also explore the definition of murder and linked crimes, the changes in investigation techniques and approaches, and developments in homicide investigation over recent years. During his career, Tim was commended 14 times and appeared on BBC Crimewatch twice, but as he points out, no one picked him out!
Tickets are allocated by a ballot system. Please email enquiries@morrablibrary.org.uk or call 01736 364474 to be entered into the ballot for a ticket. The ballot closes on Thursday 7th March.
