A Crash Course in Philosophy: Religion and Art

04/11/2022 @ 10:30 - 13:30

£22

Formerly, Philosophy was the preserve of PhDs and the intellectually precocious, until now!

In this fantastic half day course, Darren Harper will disinter a little of philosophy’s hermetic meaning as you join him to re-evaluate religion, including St. Anselm’s famous “Ontological Argument”, and then go on to appreciate art and aesthetics with Clive Bell, R. G. Collingwood and George Dickie.

Friday 4th November 10.30am – 1.30pm (with a brief refreshment break at noon)

Darren will also be hosting a taster about Stoicism on the same day at 2pm for £5, please see the separate event page for this for further details.

To book a place, please email Darren at darrenharper.esq@gmail.com
