How did humans shape the land on the Moors, and later the town?

Learn about the relationships between humans and nature of this special place, which has seen human activity since the Mesolithic period.This will be followed by an art or poetry activity of your choosing, under the guidance of award-winning published poet, Laura Kestrel. The first in a series of autumn/winter adult talk-workshops.

Laura Miucci is a qualified archaeologist and historian, specialising in finds, with a particular love of pottery, as well as the socio-political contexts in which they exist(ed).She graduated from University College Dublin, with a 1:1 Masters of Science degree, where her thesis focused on Trevisker Ware. More recently, she was a former F.L.O, and now works freelance, for her social enterprise, Lore & Piece; offering inter-disciplinary workshops, talks and tours.
She does various community roles, such as CAS, YAC and the Federation of OCS.
