Remember – there are two locations to look for second-hand books in the Library, each offering something slightly different.

The ground floor offers a mixture of Fiction and Non-Fiction, whilst the bookcase at the bottom of the basement staircase offers reference books.

There is something for everyone!

The afternoon session is full, but there are still some spaces available in the morning.

This workshop is about expressing in words the things that are left unsaid, and using these collective fragments of text to create a paper quilt, which will be displayed in the library.

The Library’s next Relaxed Book Group session, led The Library’s next Relaxed Book Group session, led by the lovely Jo Buckingham, takes place on 26th May from 2pm-3pm. You can find out more details on our website or hear a word about the sessions from Jo, below:

‘This isn’t your typical book club, there’s no pressure. You don’t have to read anything, you don’t have to come every time, and you definitely don’t have to speak if you don’t want to.

If you enjoy books but hate the pressure of a traditional book club, this is for you. And if you’re someone who can’t stop talking about a book you’ve just read… it’s definitely for you too.’
