The Photographic Archive will be temporarily closed for three weeks in order to install new equipment and furniture. We hope to be open again on Thursday 28th August.

RESCHEDULED: David Dearlove talk – Joined-up writers. A chain of acquaintance four centuries long, Wed 19th Feb 2.15pm
David Dearlove’s talk has now been rescheduled for Wednesday 19th February at 2.15pm following cancellation this week due to the high winds.

A Very Jolly Christmas Party
The Morrab was chock full of happy library members last weekend as we celebrated with our 2013 Christmas party. The wine flowed and the table was overflowing with plates of delicious treats.
Members also wandered around our new extension making suitably admiring sounds and looking at some of the images on display in the Photo Archive room.
Poems to Lift the Spirit
Please join the Penzance Ladies’ Book Club for a morning of poetry, wine, nibbles and seasonal good cheer on Saturday 14th December from 10:30am until 12:30pm at the Library.
Your £2 entry fee will go to help support the Library. There will also be books and poetry magazines for sale.
All are welcome. And please bring a favourite poem if you’d like to join in!
