Penzance-based poet and performer, Katrina Naomi will read from her forthcoming collection, ‘Battery Rocks’, on “nature, risk, swimming and the sea”, as well as from her range of poetry collections.
Her latest collection – due from Seren in July 2024 – has already received the Arthur Welton Award from the Society of Authors. Katrina is also a recipient of the Keats-Shelley Prize and you may have spotted her work on Poems on the Underground, heard it on BBC Radio 4’s Front Row and Poetry Please, or read it in the TLS too.
After her reading there will be chance to ask questions about her work and writing her new collection.
Tickets are allocated by a ballot system. Please email enquiries@morrablibrary.org.uk or call 01736 364474 to be entered into the ballot for a ticket. The ballot closes on Wednesday 1st May. Entry to this event is free but donations are welcomed to help support The Morrab Library (suggested £5). Refreshments will be provided after the talk.
