Easter Weekend Closure
We just wanted to give you a little advanced warning that The Morrab Library will be closed on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th March for the Easter weekend. We will reopen at 10am, as usual, on Tuesday 2nd April.
Please pop in during the week to borrow any holiday reading and we wish you all a very happy Easter break.
Spring Fair
We’re looking forward to the annual The Morrab Library Spring Fair on Saturday 6th April – find out more here.
Room bookings will not be available after 1.00pm on Friday 5th, and all day on the 6th April as we prepare and host our Spring Fair. There will also be no library tour on the 5th. Don’t forget we’d be grateful for any donations of plants and/or cakes for our Fair!
A rich resource for research, or a place to borrow the latest novel.
The Morrab Library is an independent library established in 1818, situated in the beautiful Morrab Gardens in Penzance, Cornwall. We hold over 70,000 books on floor-to-ceiling shelves as well as archives and a rich photographic collection. The library contains a wide range of both fiction and non-fiction books in the rambling rooms of a delightful Victorian building. The Morrab Library is a registered charity and depends on the support and generosity of our library community.
We are open Tuesday – Saturday 10am-4pm.
