This month we'll be sharing shipwreck photos chose This month we'll be sharing shipwreck photos chosen by our Photo Archive intern, Sam Hill.

The Queen Margaret impaled on the Maenheere Rocks in May 1913. The four masted Queen Margaret was well known amongst seafarers for her great speed, grace, and good treatment of crew.
Her long, slim hull bulged and parted under pressure of the swollen wheat she was transporting from Sydney to Falmouth. She was later sold for a paltry sum of £50!
